Dholera, a town in Gujarat, is a collaborative initiative between the Gujarat Government and the Central Government. Strategically positioned, the Ahmedabad-Dholera industrial region is located within 100 km of the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) in Southern Gujarat.

The objective of developing the Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) is to establish it as a global hub for manufacturing and trade—serving as a driving force for the nation’s economic revival—supported by world-class infrastructure.

The development plan, aligned with the goals and vision of the DMIC, aims to foster a conducive environment for safeguarding local industries, boosting investment opportunities, enhancing living standards, improving workforce skills, developing top-tier infrastructure, and attracting global investors.

The project aims to double employment opportunities, triple industrial production, and increase exports from the region fourfold within the next five years.
